What a Mighty "Good" Man

As I travel on this journey of getting to know myself & others. I'm realizing that a "Good Man" IS NOT defined by worldly things. (I know this sounds corny but stick with me please). We often associate a "Good Man" by the fact that he, a. has a job, b. has a car, c. has his own place, mixed in with a myriad of other "properties" i.e. a degree, God fearing, chivalrous, etc. But what I've realized is... there is no "Good Man" or a predefined "Mr. Right".

What makes a man "good" or "right" for you is the two of you. Your interactions & attraction to that man, physically, intellectually & spiritually, are what make him "right" for you. Yes, a job/career, apartment/house, car & education are very strong building blocks, they may even make up important parts of the foundation of a "Good Man" but they DO NOT make him a "Good Man". What fills the cracks in that foundation are what make him a good man for YOU!

NO MAN IS PERFECT (NOR WOMAN...BUT WE'RE TALKING ABOUT MEN HERE).

But every man has the potential to perfect his attributes in order to better appeal to & become "perfect" for you.

Think about the magic that is the fingerprint. God created billions upon billions of us, yet none of our fingerprints are the same. The reason why men "dont know what women want" is because no two women want for all of the same things. Since we're talking about men, one woman may need a balance of comfort, affection, intelligence, sense of humor with a slight sense of rebellion. While another woman desires someone calm, soft spoken, sexually uninhibited, funny & caring. These qualities exist in every man, but the amount varies per individual due to life experiences, goals, etc. Some women require more of one than the next woman does, so "he" may be "perfect" for her, but was a loser to you.

I guess this all kind of sounds like a scientific theory because what makes a man "Good" or "Perfect" for you comes down to one thing...Chemistry! If you dont have it...it doesnt matter what else he has.

  1. Finally someone who gets it....people try to generalize what a perfect person or ideal mate is...but its all individual specific. One man's trash is another man's treasure. To you she was fat and out of shape, to me she is sexy curvy and thick. To her he was to opinionated, to the next chick he is deep thinking, profound, and gives her the conversational experience she yearned for all her life. Great post. BTW caught your blog from Necole Bitchie blog, keep promoting through links it works.
